Who are the Law Enforcement Chaplaincy Sacramento (LECS) Chaplains and who do they support?
The Law Enforcement Chaplaincy Sacramento (LECS) is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization which began in 1977 to provide a secular purpose by attending to the post-trauma reactions on scene, 24-7-365 throughout Sacramento County. LECS serves 15 different law enforcement agencies, 16 local school districts, customer-based retail businesses and various churches. LECS provides families with immediate practical guidance, and valuable resources of what happens next after their loss. LECS Chaplains serve law enforcement officers, their families, and our community members by offering accurate information, compassionate care, and helpful resources which serve all community members regardless of race, culture, nationality, or religion. law enforcement, community leaders, administrators, and corporate executives trust the integrity of this program to consistently provide the highest level of service to their departments.
