Tip for the Day
Practice Personal Self-Care: it is important to remember that it is essential to care for your whole being; this means physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. You can serve as a chaplain for only so long in your own strength but then something is going to break down and it will likely be your emotional well-being. Remember to get plenty of rest, drink plenty of water and eat well, saturate yourself in prayer, and don't hesitate to ask a fellow chaplain for support when needed.
